" Don Quixote"
To dream the impossible dream.
That one man made of rusty old parts.......
(Make up the rest of the lyrics yourself)
Don is 7ft 6" tall and is
made of various farm, car parts and old oil-field equipment.
he was a commission for a
local civic leader.

" Peppy
Miss Liberty "
( Still Got That Spark )
I made this piece the week
prior to the attacks of 911.
She quickly became a symbol, to me, of the resilience of America and its ability
bounce back in the face of adversity.
She's made of a spring, Farriers tools, gears, transmission parts,
and a sparkplug.
(Happily she's sold and
resides in America )
"Mama's
Wild Child"
Dislaimer:
No Real Motorcycles Were
Harmed During the Construction
Of This Sculpture.
He's 9 1/2 feet long and 5 1/2 feet tall.
The chopper is made of an old belt pulley,
two old bicycle frames, and some oilfield
pipe. The front wheel is two wire hubcaps
wrpped with a piece of garge door spring .
The handlebars are the bottom of a shopping
cart. Gas tank is an army helmet with
radiator cap. steering damper is an old
"hot" faucet . Light is from an old gooseneck
lamp. Motor is four fire extinguishers and an
old set of Chevy smallblock headers etc. The
seat is from a 1940's tricycle. It's
mounted 6 inches off the floor on a spring.
It does a small wheelie
when people
touch it .
The
"Wild Child" is a real gearhead with a
car spring body and old barefoot gas pedals
for feet.
" if it would start I'd ride it."
("Mama's Wild Child" is for
sale)
$3,200
"Tammy
Faye"
Was made from an old manifold and some transmission gears. I thought she
looked like Medusa but my son said that she was as ugly
as Tammy Faye . So I gave her some
false eylashes , mascara and big ol' lips.
(
" Tammy Faye " is for sale )
$675
"
Sparky The Wonder Dog "
Sparky is mounted on a spring and perpetually jumps
through the "flaming" hoop. His head is on a spring too
so he nods yes when he's jumping.
He's named sparky because his penis is a sparkplug.
The sculpture is made of a bowling ball, a piece
of duct work, a fire extinguisher, Chevy rocker arms
and of course a... SPARKPLUG!
(Sorry, "Sparky" is Sold)
